Chateau Sainte Marguerite by M. Kuehn

posted in: WINE 0

Since being introduced to the fine rose wines of Provence, largely due to my friends at Mirabeau, I came across this divine wine at Marco Pierre White’s Steak and Alehouse.

Astonishingly good, elegant, refined, it’s fresh and really punchy. The folk at Mirabeau said they seek it out when in the UK – a high compliment indeed from a fellow wine maker.

The only place I found it to buy (through wine searcher) was Great Western Wine, a company down in Bath. It was £42 quid a pop in the restaurant, but you can buy it online for £15.95. If you spend a hundred pounds, delivery is free and you also receive a 10%discount on a dozen bottles. Summer is coming……and it’s in this bottle by the bucket load.
