I was fortunate enough to taste this cheese within the gorgeous environs of Baslow Hall, a Michelin starred restaurant in The Peak District.
This award winning cheese has a nutty, earthy yet buttery taste that is very reminiscent of Camembert. It’s always hard to choose a matching wine when you’re up against a really strong cheese but I had a glass of Barolo and that worked really well. I was delighted to learn that you can now buy Tunworth cheese at Waitrose.
