So, the next few blogs are going to concern themselves with making life easier at Xmas.

In other words, cheating. So many people get stressed to hell over the ‘festivites’. If you can make life a little easier why the hell not?

Most people love hummus. So why not pep it up when serving canapes and snacks to guests over the Xmas period. It takes five minutes and adds a lovely depth. Serve with hot pitta triangles.

Serves 8

2 tubs of hummus
juice of an organic lemon
1/2 a bunch of coriander leaves
4 tbs olive oil
paprika for dusting

Pour the olive oil into a food processor and add the coriander leaves and lemon juice. Wizz for thirty seconds and fold into the hummus. Dust it with the paprika and voila, a pepped up hummus to die for.
