Le Clos du Chateau Valencay by M. Kuehn

I came across this little beauty whilst catering for some concert musicians.

Valancay is a tiny appellation in the heart of The Loire valley. The grape varieties used are Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc and the result is a super dry, fresh and lovely wine that goes beautifully with fish and seafood, although I would happily sip it as an aperitif.

It’s also on offer at Majestic Wine at £7.99 instead of £9.99. Christmas is coming. Stock up. It’s a belter.
